The ARM Institute is seeking a Finance Intern to support the team with financial data management, analysis, and reporting. This internship offers a practical introduction to how financial data drives organizational success. As a Finance Intern, you will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while helping transform data into clear, actionable insights. You will support program performance tracking, assist in building dashboards and visualizations, and partner with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely data. This is an opportunity to strengthen your analytical skills while gaining exposure to real-world financial operations and decision-making.

This is a remote, Pittsburgh-based internship with periodic in-person meetings, running 10–12 weeks with flexible scheduling and part-time hours up to 20 per week.

Responsibilities
  • Help update budget tracking spreadsheets and financial models.
  • Support track forecast accuracy by comparing forecast vs. actual results.
  • Assist with maintaining financial models and spreadsheets.
  • Support management presentations with visual financial insights
  • Assist in improving data organization and reporting efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather financial information.
  • Assist in preparing reports for leadership or stakeholders.
Requirements 
  • Candidates must be enrolled in college or post degree program in finance, accounting or related fields.
  • Must be a US Citizen
Qualifications and Skills
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
  • Budget and Forecast experience preferred
  • Solid critical and analytical skills
  • Solid problem-solving abilities; resourcefulness
  • Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with PowerBI or other business intelligence tools is a plus
  • Knowledge in nonprofit cost structure is a plus
